Passenger Information

Below is some information which we have put together which we believe will make it easier for you to find your way around the airport.

There is a Post Office in T2B on the ground floor which is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 14:30, and Saturdays from 09.30 to 13:00. Telephone: +34 933 708 790

Barcelona airport is a smoke-free zone and smoking is prohibited inside the passenger terminals.

Banking Services & Currency Exchange

There are 2 Spanish La Caixa Banks: one in La Plaza in T1 on the first floor which is open every day from 07.30 to 22.00: and on the ground floor T2B open daily from 07.30 to 20:30.

To obtain a VAT refund get your paperwork stamped by Customs and take it to one of the banks or the Global Blue office (which accepts only Global Blue forms) in the passenger only boarding area on the 3rd floor of terminal T1. They are open from 07:00am until midnight.

Lost & Left Luggage

There is one left-luggage office below La Plaza in the intermodal lobby of T1. Current charges for 24 hours or less: large locker €5,80: : medium €5,10 and €4,50 for the small locker.

After 30 days the airport authority will transfer the deposited items to a warehouse. The cost of transfer is €44,50 and the daily storage charge in the warehouse is €2.30.

Cruise Line Passengers

Cruise passengers can check in to connect with their ongoing flight in T1 on the ground floor of the car park.

Passengers flying into Barcelona and transferring to the port can check in their luggage and collect their boarding passes in T1public arrivals.

WiFi/Internet Connections

There are 26 wireless Internet access points located throughout T1 and catering areas and VIP lounges in T2A and B.

There are also Multimedia Terminals /booths with internet service distributed throughout the airport.

Pharmacy & Medical Services

There are pharmacies in T1 on the third floor and T2B on the ground floor at Barcelona Airport. They are open daily from 06:30-21:00. Telephone: + 34 933 704 503

Medical Assistance is available in the Technical Block in T1 on the first floor at Barcelona Airport.

Tourist Information

There are travel agencies in the T1 railway hall, which can be accessed via La Plaza. A number of tour operators and travel agencies have offices which are open seven days a week in the T2A and T2B lobbies.

Aena has information desks manned by easily recognisable Green Jackets at T1 and T2, plus mobile information points.
