Shopping at Barcelona Airport Terminal 2

The old terminal 2 at Barcelona Airport has much less choice of shops than in the new terminal 1: and the bad news is that all of the UK airlines arrive and depart from there. Hopefully this might change in the future but in the meantime you are limited to the list below.

So if you are looking for fashion goods or local products and souvenirs buy them before you get to the airport (not such a hardship as there are some great shops and markets in Barcelona). The good news is that there are three duty free shops where you can buy perfume, cosmetics, liquor and tobacco.

If you are a Barcelona Football Club fan one of their accredited shops is here selling memorabilia (but you will also see them dotted all over Barcelona).

There is also an Estanco tobacconists rather mysteriously located on the ground floor of the public car park opposite terminal T2B.

The only shop in the public arrivals area is The Airport Market where you can buy a real mix-mash of goods including drinks, sandwiches and confectionery, cheap souvenirs and other rather random goods!

The last time I was there (a few months ago) some of these shops were closed for refurbishment so don't bank on all of them being open.
