There are no trains at Valencia Airport so the easiest way of transferring to your holiday destination is via one of the buses at Valencia Airport or by catching a Valencia Airport Taxi which can be found directly opposite the arrivals hall.

Actually you may find it cheaper to book your own Private Valencia Transfers which also add a little bit of ease and exclusivity to your trip.

You should also note that if the party that you are travelling with has more than four people in it then you will definitely need more than one taxi. Airport transfer companies are able to organise cars, mini buses and coaches for up to 52 people.

Another cheaper option is to book a seat on one of their shuttle buses.

Taxi Fares

As with all the airports in Spain there is an extra supplement that you have to pay for catching a taxi to or from the airport. At Valencia Airport the cost of the supplement is €3,50 for every trip that you make to or from the airport.

A taxi into the city centre from the airport will cost around €15-20,00.

As a rough guide the Valencia taxi rates are as follows:

•   General rate: €1,25 € + €0.77 per Km. (€14,40 for one hour waiting)
• Night and weekend rate: €1,60 + €0.89 per Km. (€16,74 for one hour waiting)
•  Minimum rate: €2,75 (€5 at night)
• Services to the airport have a supplement of €3,50 .
• Journeys should be paid for in cash - very few taxis accept credit cards.
• Taxi drivers have change only for €20 notes or less.
