Passengers arriving at Tenerife South Airport either disembark via one of the eight air bridges that are connected to the terminal building or you are collected by a shuttle bus and transported to the arrivals terminal.
When you are in the terminal and after you have cleared security if you hae bags to collect just follow the signs to the 2 baggage reclaim areas on the ground and first floors, each with seven baggage reclaim carousels.
If your baggage does not arrive, is damaged or late you should contact the carrier for your airline located in your luggage hall. If you leave anything on the plane then contact the flight operator direct and if you leave anything in the airport you need to go to lost and found which is in the ground floor public zone.
If you are being collected by someone then the best place to meet is in the Cafe Ritazza which is easy to find just outside the door which opens into the public zone.
If you have booked a private transfer then the company will let you know where the driver will be waiting for you, and if you are hiring a car then the rent a car agencies have desks which are lined side by side along the wall in the arrivals hall.
There are no rail services on the island, but if you are catching a bus to your holiday destination you will see the stops across the road as you leave the terminal. You will also see the taxi rank there where there are always plenty of vehicles lined up ready and waiting for your. In the high season expect queues, but the taxis move pretty quickly and the buses run at regular intervals.
