Live Flight Departures at Palma Airport

Departures

The check in desks can be found on second floor and after you have deposited your luggage and obtained your boarding pass you proceed to the upper floor (via lifts, escalators or stairs) to the area where you go through security and then proceed to your boarding module (A, B, C or D).

To find out more about the location of the boarding modules look at our plan of Palma Airport.

If you are going to the airport by bus or a taxi they will drop you off at departure. If you are driving then once you have parked you can get to check in via the 4th floor of the car park and going through the tunnel into the terminal and then head for the second floor.

Information on the number of your check in desk is clearly displayed on TV monitors and you will see they are situated from left to right according to zone (A, B, C, D, E, F) numbered as follows:

  • Zone A: 1-34
  • Zone B: 35-68
  • Zone C: 69-102
  • Zone D: 103-136

If you are transporting oversized objects (for example cycles) still go to your airline's normal check in desk where one of the ground staff will tell you which of the following desks you should go to:

  • Zone A: 1 & 34
  • Zone B: 35 & 68
  • Zone C: 69 & 102
  • Zone D: 103 & 136

There are also automatic check in machines for Iberia and Spanair on this floor as well as the ticket offices for all the airlines and agents.

If you have arrived on a cruise ship you can check in your luggage and boarding pass at the seaport. Your cruise line will be able to provide you with further information on exactly where to go, etc.

Before you go through security on the upper floor you will see there is a pharmacy and large restaurant if you want a final farewell drink with someone before going into the passenger only zone.

Also for those of you wanting to catch that last bit of sun before you leave Mallorca there is a large solarium in the centre of the upper floor.

Boarding Modules

After you have checked in and cleared security you will proceed to your boarding gate. As you walk through the main terminal which has a great number of shops and bars and restaurants you will see signs at the end of the terminal to gates A1-28 & B31-B38 to your left and C50-C59 & D80-D99 to your right. And then immediately to your left again you will see a lift to transport you down to the B gates and module.

The walk to the various modules from the main departures hall is again 7-9 minutes but there are travelators to make the journey easier.

When you reach your boarding module you will have a further selection of shops, duty free and places to eat and drink while you are waiting to board your plane.
