Live Flight Departures at Madrid Airport

Departures

Below is a guide to the departures areas in the various terminals at Madrid Airport. It is vital to check you are in the right terminal for your flight which is represented by T1, T2, T3, T4 or T4S on your itinerary or boarding pass.

If you arrive at Terminals 1, 2, or 3 and need to connect to another flight leaving from Terminal 4 it is a way away and you need to catch the free shuttle bus service which runs at 5 minute intervals and leaves from the stops outside arrivals.

You can also check which terminal your flight departs from on the screens at the entrances and exits to the car park.

Terminal 1

The departures check in area is on the first floor of Terminal 1. After security clearance you will have access to the duty fee shops, bars and restaurants in the passenger only zone. There are plenty of monitors dotted around for you to check your departure gate and also when your flight is boarding.

Terminal 2

After you have checked into Terminal 2 make your way to security on the first floor. There is a VIP and Fast Track service here for business class passengers and those using the VIP car park.

Terminal 3 (currently closed for check in)

Check-in desks 610-617 and boarding zone Fare on the ground floor of T3. Desks 600-603 and boarding zone E are on the first floor.

Terminal 4

If your departure gate is H, J or K they are located on Foor 1.

If you are leaving from zones R, S or U head for floor 2 where you can catch the transit train which takes you on a quick three minute journey connecting Terminal 4 with T4S.

If you are departing from zones numbered M R, S or U head for passport control on the on floor -1 and then go up to the first floor.

If you are catching the Iberia Air Shuttle make you way to the second floor of Terminal 4 where you will see it at the far end on the left hand side.

There is also a VIP access for first and business class passengers using certain airlines.

Terminal 4S (Satellite building)

If you are boarding from Zone M this is on the ground floor. For Zones R, S and U head for lower level passport control and then go to Floor 1 via the lifts or escalators.
