Arriving at Malaga Airport

You land at Malaga Airport in the new Terminal 3. Once you have cleared passport control take the down escalators down to the bags collection area where each carousel has a monitor above it saying which flight's luggage will be unloading.

You need to go through the reclaim hall to get out out of the terminal and where you will find the the bus stops and taxi rank. The car hire desks are in the arrivals hall.

If you are catching a bus make sure you buy your ticket from the office to the left as you exit arrivals as the drivers will not accept payment any more on the bus. If you are a bit early and have to wait it's a bit cheerless at the bus stop waiting on the side of the motorway (there is a shelter and some seats) but there are a couple of places to get something to eat and drink on the forecourt.

There are actually three terminals at Malaga Airport which are connected by travelators and just a few minutes walk from each other, but if you have a lot of luggage to transport or suffer from walking difficulties there is a courtesy shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes from outside both arrivals halls.

If you prebooked a private transfer or someone is meeting you, then head out through the doors into the public area where they can wait for you.

The new Terminal 3 transport centre has a bus terminus and is within walking distance to car parks P1 and P2 and the train station which operates regular cercanias (local trains) into Malaga Maria Zambrano Station in one direction or Fuerteventura in the other.
