Flights to Lanzarote are available from a large number of UK airports with more Lanzarote flights operatring over the winter period than in the summer because of the temperate climate over that period..

Lanzarote is an all year round tourist destination with its warm summers and mild winters.  Most of the passengers fly in from the UK and Germany with low cost airlines including Ryanair, Jet2.com, Air Berlin, TuiFly and Monarch Airlines.

You can fly direct from UK airports including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, London Airports Gatwick, Glasgow (International and Prestwick),  Luton and Stansted, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham East Midlands and Belfast, Cork,  Dublin, Knock and Shannon in Ireland.

German destinations include Berlin (Schonefeld and Tegel), Bremen, Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt (and Hahn), Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Nuremburg, Paderborn/Lippstadt, Salzburg and Stuttgart.

You can also connect to Spanish mainland and other island airports including Asturias, Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Madrid, Santiago, Seville, Tenerife North, Zaragoza.

The flights to Lanzarote generally take around 4 to 4½ hours depending on the weather conditions and which part of the UK you are flying from. The other important thing to remember when you travel to Lanzarote is that the clocks on the Island are set to the same time as those in the UK at all times throughout the year.
