Arrecife Airport Overview
Lanzarote Arrecife Airport is the 10th busiest Spanish Airport. It is situated 5km to the west of Arrecife and is close to the main tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen.
It is a very popular airport for holidaymakers handling frequent scheduled and chartered flights from destinations all over Europe as well as Spanish domestic routes.
Lanzarote airport now has two terminals: Terminal one services international flights and is on two floors with Departures on the Upper floor and Arrivals on the lower floor. The new terminal for national and inter-island flights is in the old terminal building which has been completely refurbished.
In 2011 Lanzarote Arrecife Airport handled 5,545,803 passengers with 49,675 flight operations.
