You will find the waiting taxis parked straight in front of you as you come out of the main arrivals area from the terminal building ar Fuerteventura Airport. J ust after you have collected your cases.

You may also like to consider booking a private transfer from Fuerteventura Airport where a driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and take you straight to a waiting vehicle.

There is a large board there displaying prices to the main resorts

Prices are charged at two rates:

Fare 1 : from 06:00 to 22:00, weekdays: all or part of each kilometre: 0.53; initial rate: €0.05; minimum fare: €3.05; price per hour waiting, €14.53 and fractional rate for every 15 minutes, €3.60.

Fare 2 : from 22:00 to 6:00 and all day on holidays: all or part of each kilometre: 0.60 Euro minimum fare: €3.35; price per hour waiting, €14.53 and fractional rate for every 15 minutes, €3.60.

Airport supplement: €1.65.

Airport Taxi Fares

The prices below are a rough guide to taxi tariffs to the most popular destinations. Although the taxis are metered, it is asking for an estimated fare before you set off for your destination so that there are no nasty surprises!

Because Fuerteventura is such a popular holiday resort with UK and German travellers the majority of taxi drivers can speak some English. But even though I speak Spanish I still have my destination written down for them as the address system for the more remote accommodation here is a little vague to say the least and the most information you can provide the better.

You have to wear your seat belt by law here with young children always travelling the in the rear seat.
