Taxis At Bilbao Airport

Bilbao Airport is located at 12 kilometres from the capital city of the same name in the district of Loiu.

There is no train service from Bilbao Airport but you can get a bus transfer or taxi to your destination.The least stressful and best way to start your holiday is by booking your own Private Bilbao Transfer but be warned there is not a lot to choose from at this airport.

Taxi Fares

There is a taxi rank directly outside the Arrivals Hall where there are always taxis lined up to meet the flights.

The fare into the centre of the city (which takes about fifteen minutes) is approximately €20-25. The fare to Getxo is €26-30. Telephone: +34 944 800 909.

There are plenty of taxis to be hired at the airport and in the city centre either from the road or cab ranks. If the green light is on then they are free. Drivers will only enter the narrow streets in the part of Bilbao if summoned.

Sample fares: Casco Viejo to Guggenheim about €12,00: San Sebastián Parte Vieja to Monte Igueldo about €20 to the top: Vitoria train station to the Basilica at Armentia €15,00 and Bilbao centre to Getxo €22,00.
