Barcelona Airport is the second busiest airport in Spain located 12km south-west of the city of Barcelona, between the city limits of El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans and Sant Boi just 3km from the Port of Barcelona.The airport has two terminals with three modules operating in Terminal 2: sections A, B & C which are joined together by travelator walkways.
The new 525,400 square metre Barcelona Airport Terminal 1 is a completely separate building some distance away which can be accessed via a shuttle service which runs every seven minutes as well as a bus service between the Renfe train station and the T1 terminal.The journey time by shuttle bus and train between terminals 1 and 2 at Barcelona Airport is approximately 10 minutes.
