Finding the Bus Stops

If you want to catch a local bus to one of the nearby resorts then you need to go up one level to the departure floor (level2) and go out of the exit at the far end where you will see stops to Alicante, and other popular resorts. You can check out the timetables and fares by clicking on the links to the bus companies provided below.

There is a very large bus parking area outside the lower floor -2 but this is where the charter buses and tour operator ones stop.

Although the airport is only 9km south-east of the city it is best to allow around 30-40 minutes for the journey plus waiting time.

There is a bus station and Tren-Tram in Alicante where you can get connections to other resorts along the coast and inland which do not have direct connections with the airport.

I have listed the timetables for the main routes below, but still check with the bus companies as they are subject to unscheduled changes.
