Arriving at Murcia Airport

Murcia Airport Arrivals are on the ground floor of the terminal building where you will also find the tourist office and car hire companies. As this is not one of the largest airports in Spain getting around is relatively straightforward.

After getting off the the aircraft you need to head to the baggage hall where thre are four carousels for domestic and international flights. The airport of origin and flight number is displayed above the carousel so that you can see where to go to get your bags.

If you have mobility problems and need assistance getting around make sure you notify your airline at least 24 hours in advance so that they can make provision for you.

Once you have gone through passport control and collected your bags head for the public arrivals hall which leads to the road outside the terminal.

There is one bus into Murcia but no trains run from the airport but you do have the choice of catching a taxi from the rank opposite the arrivals hall, prebooking a Private Murcia Airport transfer or hiring a car. If you do opt for the rent a car it is best to book in advance as this saves time when you land and often means you get a better deal.
