Vigo Airport is currently undergoing the first phase of its terminal expansion with four new departures gates: one of which is accessed via a walkway and three remotely. There is a new security filter in the new departure hall with a Jacobean Route Galician self service cafeteria, Pura Vida Natural Flow plus the multi-shop Relay and two ATM machines
The check in area at Vigo Airport is on the ground floor where you will find 12 desks and 2 boarding gates (1 & 2) on the ground floor and 6 on the first floor (3-8).
There are ticket sales desks for Iberia and Air Europa in the lobby.
Do not leave your shopping until you get to the airport as there is just one Relay multi shop in the public area selling books, newspaper and magazines for the journey, toys, drinks and local foodstuffs. It is open daily from 06:00-22:00. There is no duty free shop at Vigo.
You can get something to eat and drink at Pura Vida before you go through security. It is in the main lobby area and is self-service with a grill, hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches and rolls, salads, and tapas dishes. There are also vending machines in this area.
Because Vigo is such a small airport with limited passenger amenities it is best to remain here until your flight is called as there is no departures lounge and just boarding gates and a drinks dispensing machine after security.
