Arriving at Santander

When you arrive at Santander Airport you will come through two gates into the Arrivals Hall on the ground floor of the passenger terminal.

The general arrivals lobby is quite small and can handle around 636 passengers.

When you get to the luggage hall you will see 3 baggage carousels which have a monitor above detailing which flight is being handled on each belt, passport control and customs and as you go into the arrivals lobby you will find the desks for the rent a car companies. If you have booked your rent a car in advance all you need to do is to preent your booking reference, driving licence and the credit card you used to make the booking.

If you are being met by someone there is La Barilla cafe in the public area where they can wait in comfort.

If you are planning on getting public transport into Santander there is no train service at the airport (the railway is in the city centre) but there is a bus which stops opposite arrivals and runs at regular intervals.

Another option is to get a taxi from the rank outside the terminal. There are always vehicles lined up here waiting for the flights.
