If you are flying into Granada Airport and want to tour the area without hiring a car the taxis in Granada are offering tourists the choice of nine routes which have been planned by the Provincial Tourism Board and which will visit areas including Salobrena, Almunecar, Sierra Nevada or the Alpujarra.
The routes will cost between 29-125 euros per trip (not per passenger) depending on the distance and this does not include entrance to monuments and museums or meals. The new service is being operated by the Granada Taxi Union in collaboration with the Junta de Andalucia and the taxi drivers offering the service will have special language training.
