Europcar car hire is introducing electric cars to its Spanish fleet in Madrid and Barcelona in a bid to become more environmentally-friendly.
So if you are planning to hire a car from Madrid Barajas or Barcelona El Prat Airport you can drive off in the electric Peugeot iOn. The company plans to have 150 similar vehicles available by the end of the year.
